After her collaborations with EMI MARIA, aimi is back with another amazing project: it’s a collaboration single with JASMINE.
aimi and JASMINE released today, 12th July, their first digital single together, called “Risk It All“. Other than the title track, the single includes the song “My Girl“.

JASMINE, who made her debut in 2009 under Sony Music Entertainment, became a viral sensation of her generation with her major hit, “sad to say.” aimi, on the other hand, emerged as a rising star in the Japanese R&B scene with her bilingual R&B project in 2020, ushering in a new wave of talent.
Produced by Modesty Beats, the project encompasses two powerful R&B tracks that evoke a range of emotions. “Risk It All” explores the struggles and risks that come with pursuing their true passions. It embodies a rebellious attitude towards the Japanese music industry and serves as a response to those who doubted their potential and dreams as artists in the past. Conversely, “My Girl” celebrates the bond of sisterhood. Drawing from their shared childhood experiences of growing up in a challenging household, the song portrays the unbreakable bond between sisters, emphasizing the support and love they have for one another.
The visuals showcase Y2K fashion influences and draw inspiration from iconic girl groups like Destiny’s Child and TLC. This collaboration promises to deliver a fresh perspective to the Japanese music scene, blending the vibrant energy of “gal” culture with the soulful sounds of R&B.”
