Today, 9th December, Utada Hikaru celebrates their 23rd anniversary!
Their official website announced several news as promised.
“BAD mode” is the 8th album
Hikki’s new album has a title and two release dates: it’s called “BAD mode” (BADモード) and it will be released at first at a digital level on 19th January (Hikki’s birthday), while the physical copy will be available starting from 23rd February.
There are two editions: a regular CD and a limited CD+DVD.
These are the confirmed tracks:

- PINK BLOOD

Online concert
The online concert we talked about a month ago has been confirmed: it will be held on 19th January and it will be called “Hikaru Utada Live Sessions from Air Studios“. The singer will turn 39 that same day.

“Kimi ni Muchuu” Music Video
Today, along with all the news, Hikki published their new music video for the song “Kimi ni Muchuu” (君に夢中). The track was released on 26th November. We talked about it here.
